Sandy Kay Marcum

Sandy Kay Marcum, age 55, of Jones Hill Road, Lot 11, Freeman, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Mercer Nursing and Rehab. Center in Bluefield. Born on October 14, 1954 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Anders Duvall. She had been a Resident of Bramwell for 11 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her: Husband: Donald R. Bowling of the home 2 sons: Darrell W. Dunn, Jr. and Michelle of Northfork Donald H. Bowling and Dorothy of Brushfork Daughter: Marlena J. Marcum of Freeman 3 brothers: Howard Duvall of Marion, VA Donald Duvall of Bramwell James Duvall of Marion 6 sisters: Peggy Fitzko of Freeman Martha Clark and Bill of Bland, VA Barbara Meade and husband Mike of High Point, NC Linda Duvall of Kegley Patty Holleman of Leckie Elizabeth Jessee and Roger of Princeton 5 grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Terry Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
