William Ezra Yearout

BLUEFIELD, WV---William Ezra Yearout, age 74, of 1816 Whitehorn Ext. Bluefield, WV passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at his residence. Born February 1, 1936 at Bluefield, he was the son of the late Frank and Virginia C. Brooks Yearout. Mr. Yearout was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, where he had retired from the maintenance department at Flowers Bakery in Bluefield, WV. He was a member of the Teamster Union and he was also an honorary life member of the Bluefield WV Rescue Squad where he was known as “Goose”. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, James F. Yearout; his special companion, Ann Perkins who passed away July 23, 2010. Survivors include, One son, Rick Yearout of Bluefield, VA One daughter, Debbie Bucker, and husband Patrick of Camp Hill, PA One sister, Margaret Calfee of Peru, IN One granddaughter, Laura Phlegar John and husband Denny of Youngsville, NC Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Pastor David Ratcliff officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV. Friends may call Monday, July 26, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
