Evelyn Frances Gillenwater

Evelyn Frances Gillenwater, 88, of 319 Fairgrounds Road Princeton, WV formerly of Montcalm, passed away on Saturday, July 03, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. She was born on July 16, 1921 in McComas to the late Albert and Elsie Stone Webb. Evelyn had been a resident of Montcalm for 50 years was a member of the Montcalm Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alvie O. Gillenwater and one grandson David Hineman. Survivors Include: Two Sons: Everett “Buddy” Gillenwater and wife Carolyn of Bluefield, VA Danny Gillenwater of Abingdon, VA Three Daughters: Colleen Sisson and Richard of Mechanicsville, VA Karen Finley and James of Princeton Myra E. Edgeworth of Jonesborough, TN Four Brothers: Everett Webb of Sinking Springs, PA Justin Webb of New Castle, DE Vester Webb of Bastian, VA Bayne Webb of Newark, DE Four Sisters: Jeanette Whitley of Bristol, VA Nellie Law of Bluefield Laura Hodges of Rock Christine Flowers of Williamstown Five Grandchildren: Michael, Patricia, Kevin, Renee and Stephanie Four Great Grandchildren: Kathlyn, Cameron, Emerson and Colin Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July, 06, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Lacy Brooks and Rev. Ryan Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where family members will serve as pallbearers.
