PRINCETON — Amy Lee Quillan, age 90, of 2191 Maple Acres Road, Princeton, W.Va., died on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at her home.
Born on December 21, 1919 in Montcalm, she was a daughter of the late Samuel William Sublett and Ellie Alice Hamblin Sublett. She had lived in Princeton for the past 13 years and was a member of the Princeton Church of God. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold David Quillan; a daughter, Carol Manning; a granddaughter, Debbie Caroll; six brothers, Mark, Roland, Herbert, Lewis, Harry, and Claude Sublett; and three sisters, Ruth Blankenship, Eunice Robinette, and Ella Maxine Sublett.
Survivors: Son, Donald Ray Quillan of the home; sisters, Eldora Fleeger of Nile, Mich., Ida Mae Clay of Montcalm, W.Va., Wanda Gills of Salem, Va., Myrtle Arthur Hopper of Waitville, W.Va.; grandchildren, Nick Quillan of Michigan, Linda Caroll of Tennessee, Jimmy Caroll of Tennessee, Cathy Caroll of Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
