Katherine M. Talley

Katherine M. Talley, age 78, of 2611 New Hope Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at her residence. Born on May 23, 1932 in Meadows of Dan, VA, she was a daughter of the late Early and Susan Gunter Cruise. She had been a resident of Princeton for 53 years and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Talley and a son, John Talley. Survivors include her: Son: Phillip C. Talley and Connie of Tunnel Hill, IL 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren Brother: Elvin Cruise and Sue of Elk River, MN Sister: Carolyne Smith of Bluewell Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Greg Kinser officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
