Ruth Lorraine Booth Lane, age 81, of Rt. 4, Box 94, Bluefield, West Virginia passed away at the home of her son, Rex Lane at Homestead Lane, Bluefield, Virginia on Thursday, July 01, 2010.
Born on June 6, 1929 in Bluefield, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Roxie Lambert Booth. She had lived at Rt. 4, Bluefield for over 22 years and was a member of the First Church of God. She was also a member of the Senior Friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. Lane; sisters, Ruby Smith and Wanda Blackburn; a brother, Earl Booth; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Elder Tom Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Her grandsons and nephews will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
