Tim Ryan McPeak, age 58, of Pinnacle View Road (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at his residence.
Born on July 8, 1951 in Welch, he was a son of the late Clifford Walter and Alice Pearl Seets McPeak. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluewell and served 8 years in the National Guard. He was retired from the Bluefield Fire Department and was a member of the Bluewell Volunteer Fire Department. He formerly worked for the Bluefield Rescue Squad, Mercer County Emergency Management Service, and was a 911 dispatcher. He was an EMT and paramedic and was an instructor for each. He also participated in civil war reenactments with the National Civil War Artillery Association.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Brushfork National Guard Armory with Minister Rick Mathena and Rev. Stephen Rector officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where members of the Bluewell Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. The flag will be presented by the Bluefield Fire Department.
Friends may call on Sunday from 6-9 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Bluefield Rescue Squad serving as honor guard and on Monday, prior to services at the Brushfork National Guard Armory from 11:00-1:00PM.
