Shirley Marie O'Donell

Shirley Marie O’Donell, age 74, of Route 1 Box 332 (Sandlick Road), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010 at her residence. Born on November 22, 1935 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Elma Barger O”Donell. She had lived with her sister, Sue Carter, for the last five years and attended the Church of Propercie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Asmus; and a brother, Ray O’Donell. Survivors include her: Sisters: Louise Hingar of Bluefield Sue Carter of Bluefield Brothers: Jake O’Donell of Princeton Calvin O’Donell of Princeton Garland O’Donell of Athens Special niece: Judy Little Special friends: Eddie Olshansky, Bill Cox Special caregivers: Heather Bishop and Crystal Parks of Hospice Compassus. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. George Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Alan Hager, Kevin Kendrick, Jerry Taylor, Mark Byrd, Edmond O’Donell, and Philip O’Donell will serve as pallbearers.
