Jean Hatfield McMillen

Word has been received by relatives of the death of Glenn Jean Hatfield McMillen, 86, on March 10, 2010 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born in Thacker, West Virginia she was the daughter of Glenn D. Hatfield and Gertrude Berryman Hatfield, longtime resident of Welch before moving to St. Petersburg, FL. preceding her in death were her parents, a brother George Hall formerly of Morristown, Tennessee and a sister Kathryn Bertok formerly of St. Petersburg, FL. She was a former employee of the Appalachian Power Company in Welch, West Virginia before moving to Florida. She enjoyed watching game shows on TV, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and Bingo. Left to cherish her memory is her children Andrew McMillen of Inverness, FL. Shela Shepherd Boardman also of Inverness and Shelley McMillen Porter (Charles) of St. Petersburg. Four grandchildren, one great grandchild all of Florida. One sister Mildred Hatfield Buckler of Raytown, MO., a brother Robert “Bob” Hatfield and wife Peggy of Bluefield, West Virginia. And numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn Jean was cremated in accordance to her wishes.
