Daphna C. Lambert

Daphna C. Lambert, 90, of P.O. Box 6 Switchback, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia. Mrs. Lambert was born on July 24, 1919 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Wiley and Lottie Caldwell Osborne. She had been a resident of Switchback for most of her life and was a member of the Maybeury Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Troy L. Lambert; three sisters; Catherine Quesenberry, Sylvia Osborne and Goldie Williams as well as two brothers; Oakley Osborne and Kiezer Osborne. Survivors Include: One Son: Alvin Lambert of Brushfork, West Virginia One Daughter: Diana Hamilton of Switchback, West Virginia One Sister: Eloise Reed of Princeton, West Virginia Two Grandchildren: Arnold Hamilton, Jr. of Elkhorn, West Virginia Matthew Hamilton of Switchback, West Virginia One Great Grandchild: Alexis Hamilton of Switchback, West Virginia Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with the Rev. Dollie Sexton conducting the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia. Friends and family may call on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia.
