Billy Eugene Casey, Jr.

Billy Eugene Casey, Jr. age 51, of Route 4 Box 413, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on December 1, 1958 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Bill Casey, Sr., Claudine Thompson Clay and stepfather, Benny Clay. He had been a resident of Mercer County for 15 years and was a member of the Bluewell Church of God. He worked in construction for DCI Shires. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Ricky and Wallace Casey. Survivors include: Wife: Phyllis Gills Casey of the home 1 son: Richard Dillow, Jr. of Bluefield 3 daughters: Jackie Coy of Princeton Melissa Dillow of Princeton Billie Jean Casey of Bluefield 5 grandchildren 2 brothers: Doug Casey of Bluefield Benny Clay, Jr. of Princeton 9 sisters: Barbara Smith of Bluefield, VA Mary Smith of Bluefield Tammy Roope of Radford, VA Melissa Clay of Bluefield Virginia Casey of Bluefield, VA Paula Casey of Bluefield, VA Sharon Childress of Vansant, VA Nichole Casey of Bluefield, VA Cindy Casey of Bluefield, VA Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Ministers Teddy Warden and Dewayne Houk officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Mike Coy, Roger Neal, Shawn Neal, Charlie Meadows, Timmy Dillow and Travis Dillow serving as pallbearers. Dakota Dillow and Tyler Coy will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
