Jerry Allen Woodie, Sr. 43, of Falls Mills, VA formerly of Bland, VA passed away on Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, WV. Jerry was born on October 04, 1966 in Beckley, WV to Paul Woodie of Brushfork, WV and the late Mary Sears Woodie. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by one uncle Roy Woodie Survivors Include: Wife: Shelby Hampton Woodie of the Home Two sons: Jerry Woodie Jr. and Candlee Pollard of Bluefield, VA Justin Woodie of the home One Daughter: Adrienne Woodie of Bluefield, WV Two Grandsons: James Torrence and Anthony Torrence both of the home Brothers: Larry Woodie and Linda Hampton of Brushfork, WV Robert and Carrie Woodie of Bluefield John and Lynn Woodie of Bluefield Sister: Lisa Yowler of Smith Mountain Lake Special Brother in Laws: Stuart Hampton of Duffield, VA Thomas and Rhonda Meadows of Bluefield Special Cousin: John Wilson Woodie Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 06, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with the Pastor Bobby Koen officiating the service. Friends and family may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 06, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Woodie will be cremated following his funeral service.
