Paul Elmer Howell

Paul “Elmer” Howell, Sr., age 76, of 1323 Glenwood Park Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at his residence. Born on July 30, 1934 in McComas, he was a son of the late Dolphus Elmer and Maggie Beaman Howell. He had been a resident of Princeton since 1950 and was of the Protestant faith. He was retired from Nestle’s as a regional sales manager and retired as a National Sales Manager for Templeton-Kinley Corp. He also was a driver for Ramey’s in Princeton and was a member of the Croatian Federal Union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Robertson. Survivors include: Wife: Lucy Begovich Howell of the home 2 sons: “Paul” Elmer Howell, Jr. and Marlene of Princeton Dr. Stephen Howell of Florence, AL 5 grandchildren: Dr. Aaron Howell and Erin Belcher of Greenville, NC Dr. Dale Robertson, II and Kim of Beckley Stephanie and Dr. Brian Richards of Huntsville, AL Lauren and Joshua Howell 3 great grandchildren: Hayley Howell, Alexandria Richards, and Susan Richards Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Allen Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where, Bob Roland, Bobby Roland, Lewis Begovich, Jr., Michael Begovich, Dr. Johnny Begovich, Frank Ferrell and Randy Ferrell will serve as pallbearers.
