Melvin H. Belcher age 71, of Rt. 3 Bluefield, WV went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, April 11. 2010 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born on November 17, 1938 in Montcalm, he was a son of the late Oscar and Effie Hawks Belcher. He had lived at Rt. 3, Bluefield for the past 35 years and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. He was a retired salesman for King’s Tire Company in Bluewell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Dewey and Douglas Belcher; Brother-in-Law, Dave Farley.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 1:00 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Andy Byrd officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton, WV. The family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Memory Of Melvin Belcher to the Voice of Praise Worship Center, Rt. 5, Box 688, Bluefield, WV 24701 or the American Heart Association, 162 Court Street, Charleston, WV 25301.
