Gladys Church

Gladys Church, age 83, of 105 Davis Street, Lincolnton, NC and formerly of Bluewell, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 in Lincolnton. She was born on December 29, 1926 in Boissevain. She had been a resident of Lincolnton for 3 years and lived most of her life in West Virginia. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse T. Church; 3 sons and 2 daughters. Survivors include: 2 sons: Robert William Church of the home Jessie Church of Welch 1 daughter: Diane Sue Peaks of Lincolnton, NC One Special granddaughter: Donna Johnson of Sevierville, TN Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Jim Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
