BLUEFIELD — Arthur “Dean” Hall, 77, of Rt. 3 Box 656 Bluefield, W.Va. (Lorton Lick Road), went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at his residence.
Born on June 01, 1932 in Princeton, W.Va. to the late Frank and Verna Williams Hall, he had been a resident of Bluefield, W.Va. for the past 32 years and was a retired coal miner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Bobby Jo Hall; and one sister, Ruby Hall.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Hazel A. Hall of the home; one son, Dean Hall, II and soul mate Rhonda “Beth” Whitt of Bluefield, W.Va.; two daughters, Teresa Pack and husband Tim of Fayetteville, W.Va., Rita Lilly Sharp and husband Jeff of Beckley, W.Va.; one brother, Frank Hall, Jr., of Bluefield, W.Va.; two sisters, Melva Anderson of Buford, Ga., Lorraine Boone of Louisville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday February 15 , 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. with Pastor Dale Sharp officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, W.Va.
Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. on Sunday, February 14 2010 from 6-8 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Pack, Todd Weaver, Jeff Sharp, Matt Wriston and Tim Doty.
