Ruby Jean Kinzer

CONOVER, NC---Ruby Jean Taylor Kinzer, age 75, of Conover, NC formerly of Switchback, WV passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Frye Regional Hospital in Hickory, NC. Born March 6, 1934 in Leckie, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Hallie Johnson Taylor. Mrs. Kinzer was longtime resident of Switchback, WV and a member of the Church of God in Mayberry, WV where she had taught Sunday school and preached God’s word. She had also worked as a Bank Teller at Pioneer Bank in Northfork, WV In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Charles Kinzer, Two, brothers and Four, sisters. Survivors include, Two sons, Raymond Kinzer and wife Heather of Vero Beach, FL Jerry Kinzer and wife Anne of Conover, NC One daughter, D’ Kaye Kinzer Lambert of Switchback, WV. One sister, Betty Blevins and husband Junior of Switchback, WV Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Ronald Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluewell, WV. Friends may call Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
