Clifford F. Davidson

Clifford F. Davidson, age 85, of 160 Winterhaven Avenue, Princeton, WV, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at a Princeton hospital. Born on September 20, 1924 he was a son of the late Jim and Trula Perkins Davidson. He had been a resident of Princeton since 1975 and was a member of the Princeton Presbyterian Church. He was a retired store owner and was a former member of the Keystone Rotary Club and the Princeton Lions Club. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Wife: Molly Murphy Davidson of the home 2 daughters: Bonnie Wills and husband James of Princeton Becky Davidson of Frisco, TX 2 grandchildren: Michael Wills and wife Zinna of GA Brian Wills of Princeton 2 great grandchildren: Aaron Wills of GA Gavin Wills of GA Brother: Raymond Davidson of IN 2 sisters: Hattie Lacy of Bluefield Louise Davis and husband John of Princeton Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Ed Pettus officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
