Jackie Lee Yuhasz

HUNINGTON, WV--- Jackie Lee “Jack” Yuhasz, age 54, of 912 6th Street Apt. B3 Huntington, WV, formerly of Gary, WV passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at his residence. Born September 12, 1955 at Gary, WV he was the son of Zola Mae Yuhasz Zaborsky of Dublin, VA and the late John L. Yuhasz. After graduating from Gary High School in 1973, Jack enrolled at Marshall University and continued his studies until receiving a Masters Degree in Counseling. Jack remained in Huntington after graduation where he enjoyed playing tennis and golf and attending Thundering Herd football games with friends and family. As Rachel and Stephanie grew older, Jack enjoyed their participation in youth soccer, basketball, and swimming. Jack shared his love of good music and good food with friends and family over the years. He and Stephanie became a good team in the kitchen too. He had also worked as Service Manager of Best Buy. In addition to his Father, he was preceded in death by one great-nephew, Reese Martin. survivors include, His Mother, Zola Mae Yuhasz Zaborsky of Dublin, VA Two daughters, Rachel and Stephanie Yuhasz of Huntington, WV. Four brothers, Roger Yuhasz of Meadowview, VA Eddie Yuhasz of Dublin, VA Bob Yuhasz of Dublin, VA Bill Yuhasz and Companion, Susan Valvo, of Mooresville, NC Special companion, Dr. Susan Flesher of Huntington, WV Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, WV. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Friends may call at the Reger Funeral Home Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may also call Sunday January 10, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.
