Elizabeth Frances Coleman

Elizabeth Frances Coleman, age 71, of PO Box 1334 (Prater Hollow), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on July 20, 1937 in Richlands, she was a daughter of the late Vergil and Preal Martin Stevens. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 42 years and was of the Pentecostal holiness faith. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Curtis H. Coleman of her home; her children, Malinda Rose of Elkton MD, Patricia and Domingo Javier of Bluefield, Sheila and David Massingale of Cleveland, TN, Regina and Chris Laramie of Hedrick, OK, Steven and Tina Coleman of Bluefield, and Donna and Scott Lee of Beaufort, SC; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; one sister, Emogene and James Simmons of Richlands, VA; and two brothers, Vergil and Glenda Stevens of Abingdon, VA, and Johnny and Sandy Stevens of Hardy, KY. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
