Patrick Rodney Thompson

Patrick Rodney Thompson, age 54, of PO Box 434 (Freedom Road), Montcalm, WV, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 at his residence. Born on September 17, 1954 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Joseph (JD) and Macie White Thompson. He had been a resident of Montcalm for most of his life and was a coal miner and a computer cable technician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Thompson. Survivors include his son, Shaine Thompson and wife Heather of Salisbury, NC; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Stanley Thompson of Bluewell, and Jeffery Thompson of Montcalm; and sisters, Gewaine Christian, Scarlett Godfred and Debbie Wall of Charlotte, NC; Tami Trajilli of Wilmington, NC; Kim Bowman of Bluefield, and Robin Stemlo of Midway. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
