Arnold Lee Harmon, 73 passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2010 at his home in Matoaka, West Virginia after his battle with cancer. He was born in McComas, West Virginia on April 16, 1936 to the late Lee Andrew Harmon and Rosa B. Robertson Harmon. He was a retired coal miner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six sisters: Garie Graham, Cora Jones, Ethel Huffman, Margie Carr, Ruby Midkiff, Betty Rutherford and three brothers: Bert Harmon, J.C. Harmon and James Harmon.

Is his special friend and companion Daisy McKinney and the mother of his children Jeanie Harmon.
One son: Arnold Lee Harmon, Jr. and special friend Patty Harmon.
Two daughters: Shirley Harmon of Matoaka, West Virginia

Steven Short, JoJo Short, Jessica Bailey, Monica Perkins and John Newton
One sister: Evelean Neely of Matoaka, West Virginia
One Brother: Ralph W. Harmon and wife Wiladean Harmon of Glenwood, West Virginia
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with the Minister Anthony Ross officiating the service. Burial will follow Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia.
Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia. On Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
