Mary Elizabeth Huffman

Mary Elizabeth Huffman, age 88, of Box 164 Anawalt, WV passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 at Welch Community Hospital. Born February 16, 1921 in Virginia, she was the daughter of Elisha and Eva Ratcliff Munsey. Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker and a member of the Conklintown Church of God and was a lifelong Prayer Warrior for God. She lived her life for God and has received her reward. She has touched many lives with her testimony. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Price Huffman in 1974 and her daughter Judith Ann in 2003 and a sister Fanny Bell Blankenship in 2009. She leaves behind her special friend and caregiver Nancy Palmer of Bluewell and a close friend Rick Goodman, who helped watch over her. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Franklin Sexton and Rev. Norman Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, January 18, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Rick Goodman, Jim Palmer, Bobby Parks, Jerry Graham, and Bob Palmer will serve as Pallbearers.
