Edna Madline Nelson

BLUEFIELD,WV--- Edna Madline Nelson, age 80, of 109 Market Street of Bluefield, WV passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 at her residence. Born May 25, 1929 in Bluefield, WV she was the daughter of the late Fred and Rosa Allen Lambert. Mrs. Nelson was lifelong resident of Bluefield where she was a homemaker and a member of the Midway Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William L. Nelson and one granddaughter, Lisa Nelson. Survivors include, One son, Danny L. Nelson of Bluefield, WV One brother, D.K. Lambert of Princeton, WV One, sister, Nancy B. Patton of Springville, VA Two grandchildren Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel, Bluewell, WV with Rev. Gary Shue officiating. Burial will follow in Lambert Cemetery, Grassy Branch Road, Bluefield, WV. Friends may call Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Andy Patton, Mike Patton, Mathew Pokerney, Mike Lambert, Mike Byrd, Richard Pokerney, and Todd Patton will serve as Pallbearers.
