Donna Mae Jennings

Donna Mae (Bryan) Jennings, age 62, of Rowlesburg, WV, died on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Donna was born on September 8, 1947 in Rowlesburg and was a daughter of the late Muriel Lavada (Mayne) Ely and Harold “Jim” Gordon Ely of Rowlesburg. She loved spending time with her family and friends and loved playing Yahtzee and Bingo. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Billy Jennings; one son, William “Bill Bill” Jennings of Rowlesburg; ;one daughter and spouse, Melissa Sue and Timothy Delaney of Tunnelton; one brother and spouse, Bud and Sharon Ely of Tera Alta; four sisters, and spouses, Regina and Ralph Raybeck of Rowlesburg, Sue and Dave Frantz of Martinsburg, Debbie and James Turner, II of Rowlesburg, Martha and Donnie Knotts of Terra Alta; two grandchildren, Logan Delaney of Bruceton Mills, family member, Don Walters of Rowlesburg; special friends, Lori Sisler, Ruby Arbogast, Chris Arbogast; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Bryan and Butch Ely. Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Ryan Meadows officiating. Friends may call on Saturday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Jennings Cemetery at Matoaka, WV.
