Leonard Roscoe “Sack” Sheets, age 77, of PO Box 36, Montcalm, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at his residence. Born on March 4, 1932 in Goodwill, he was a son of the late James Ledford and Gertie Ola Perkins Sheets. He had been a lifelong resident of Montcalm and attended the Montcalm Church of God. He was a retired coil winder for WV Armature. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Sheets and a sister, Gladys Stafford. Survivors include: 2 daughters: Alesha Black and husband Timmy of Rock Terri Pauley and husband David of Bluefield 4 grandchildren: Kevin and Matthew Davidson Savannah and Duane Black Step grandchildren: David J. and Katherine Pauley of Bluefield Step great-grandchild: Alexander Pauley of Bluefield 2 sisters: Pauline Lucado of Montcalm Peggy Combs of Delphos, OH Former wife: Carol Sheets of Bluewell A host of nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Robinson officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell with grandsons, Kevin & Matthew Davidson, and nephews serving as pallbearers. Duane Black will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
