Rickey Lee Culp

Rickey Lee Culp, age 51, of Route 5 Box 370-B, Bluefield, WV, the only son of Evelyn Culp Davis and the late George “Sandy” Davis of Bluewell, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at a Charleston hospital after a battle with liver cancer. He was born on July 12, 1958 in Iaeger and was a drywall worker. He will be remembered for his generosity among his friends and family. He attended SouthView Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his father; and a special Mom and Dad, Irene and Red Murphy. Survivors include: Mother: Evelyn M. Culp Davis of the home Sister: Wanda K. Blevins, formerly of Leckie, now of Tuscaloosa, AL Special friend and caregiver: Tommy Evans who was always there in the time of need Fuenral services will be conducted on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Mac McBride and Rev. Jesse Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where David Blevins, John Rose, Terry Wyatt, Tommy Evans, Jody Blevins and Rev. Jesse Hunt will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday, one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
