David Galen Cline, Sr.

FREEMAN, WV--- David Galen Cline, Sr. age 77 of PO Box 96 Freeman, WV passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at his residence. Born January 25, 1933 at Freeman, WV he was the son of the late Floyd and Cosby Akers Cline and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. Cline was a graduate of Bramwell High School Class of 1952. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Mr. Cline retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways. He was a member of the Bramwell Kiwanis Club, Bramwell Masonic Lodge #45, and a member of the Bramwell United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Cline; Sister, Velma Fay Cline Shrader; Son-in-law, Michael Herron. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Betty Joan McPeak Cline, of the home. Two sons, David Cline, Jr. and wife Melanie of North Tazewell, VA Michael Cline and wife Sara of Princeton, WV Three daughters, Dana Carver and husband James of Bramwell, WV Robin Hylton and husband Richard of Bramwell, WV Rebecca (Becky) Herron and Randall White of Bramwell, WV (Nemours) Seventeen grandchildren, Jack Carver and wife Jessie, Heather Osborne and husband Daniel, Bobby Herron and wife Becky, Randy White, Kimberly Wilson and husband Shannon, Pam Hylton, Daniel Epperson, Kristi Conant and husband Ricky, Chris Herron and wife Becky, Matthew White and wife Ashley, Mandy Reynolds and husband Gregory, Richard Hylton and wife Kristy, Eric Herron, Andrew Epperson, Brooke Cline, Jeremy Hylton, and Tanner Cline. Sixteen great-grandchildren, Cody Osborne, Douglas Bailey, Jr., Dakoata Wilson, Alyssa Carver, Jacob White, Samantha England, Elizabeth Herron, Matthieu Hylton, Cheyanne White, Lucas Herron, Alexis White, Chloe Wilson, Levi Hylton, Alea Reynolds, Natalie Herron, and Kaylee Conant. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Rick Duncan and Rev. Ken Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, WV where the Bramwell Masonic Lodge # 45 will conduct Masonic graveside rites and serve as Pallbearers.
