Ferndine Virginia Lineberry, 81, of Rt. 4 Box 115 Bluefield, WV passed away on Thursday July 22, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Hospital. Born on May 28, 1929 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late T.W. and Ruby Lee Buttrey Carter. She had lived in Bluefield her entire life and was a member of the Brushfork United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Thomas Lineberry; a sister, Charlotte Carter; and a brother, Joe Carter. She formerly worked for National Electric Coil in Bluefield, WV and A.W. Cox Department Store. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 312 and Moose Lodge Chapter 565. In her spare time she enjoyed bingo and fishing Survivors: Sons: Dr. G.T. Lineberry and wife Diana of Midway, Kentucky Mark Lineberry and wife Renee of Princeton, WV Sisters: Tommie June Johnson of South Hampton, Pennsylvania Priscilla “Cookie” Denny and husband Hershel of Roland Heights, California Grandsons: Travis Lineberry, Jacob Lineberry, Casey Lineberry, Chase Lineberry Great-Granddaughter: Rayanne Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Stephen White officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Her grandsons will be serving as her pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
