Lena Ann Lewis

Lena Ann Lewis, of Rt. 4 Box 369 Bluefield, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the residence of her daughter. She was born in Bluefield, WV to the late Walter Broyles and Nancy Phillips Broyles. Lena had been a resident of Bluefield for her entire life and was a member of the Voice of Praise Worship Center where she was a member of the choir. She was faithful to give to her local church and supporter of Pat Robertson’s 700 Club Ministries. She was talented in artistic ability and wrote poetry, even at the early age of 16 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John William Lewis and one son James “Jimmy” Lewis and two sisters Rosa Broyles, Nora Broyles and two brothers Marvin Broyles and Glen Alvin Broyles. Survivors Include: Three Daughters: Judy Webb of Bluefield, WV Connie Miller and Ricky special caregivers of Bluefield WV Cathy Spradlin and Wayne of Bluefield, WV One Brother: Melvin Broyles of Bluefield, WV Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one step great grandchild Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with the Pastor David Ratcliff officiating the service. Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Friday, July 23, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of her service. Cryptside service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV. Those wishing to attend Mrs. Lewis Cryptside service are asked to meet at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV. Friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
