BLUEFIELD,VA---James Spinella, age 88, of 719 Tazewell Ave. Bluefield, VA passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center, Bluefield, WV. Born July 23, 1922 he was the son of the late Joe and Mary Martin Spinella. Mr. Spinella was a lifelong resident of the Bluefield area. He retired from Virginia Foods and was a Member of the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield VA. Survivors include, His wife, Christine Call Spinella of Bluefield, VA One daughter, Melissa Spinella and Grandson, Tanner Sult of Bluefield, WV Two step-sons, Terry Roatsey and wife Peggy of Charleston, WV Larry Roatsey of Freeman, WV One step-daughter, Ann Hager and husband Doug of Williamsburg, VA Six Grandchildren, eight Great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Raymond Amos officiating. A private entombment will be held at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV at a later date. Friends may call Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
