Frank Carl Davis, Jr.

Frank Carl Davis, Jr., age 65, of 103 Gypsum Street, Bluefield, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at his residence. Born on March 20, 1945 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Frank C. Davis, Sr. and Martha Little Davis. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a graduate of Bluefield High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell. He formerly worked for National coil and Smith Services. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Jane Dickens, Judy Davis and Sarah Ruth Barbery. Survivors include: Brother in law: Paul S. Barbery and Wilma of Bluefield, VA Cousins: Bob Little of Bluefield Carolyn Little of Bluefield Garnett Little of Bland, VA Jennifer Compton of Rocky Gap, VA Randy Gibson of Bramwell Patsy Cox of Bluefield Several other cousins Niece: Ann Austin of Sanford, NC Nephew: Paul Dickens of Sanford, NC Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
