James Kenneth Glass

James Kenneth “Jimmy” Glass, 72, of Box 158 Maybeury, WV (Peel Chestnut Mountain) passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, WV. Mr. Glass was born on March 21, 1938 in Pageton, WV to Effie Smith Glass of Maybeury, WV and the late James I. Glass. He was of the Baptist Faith and had been a resident of Maybeury, WV for the past 14 years. He was retired from Lincoln Brass of Detroit, Michigan. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Glass, paternal grandparents William and Exie Glass and Maternal Grandparents Jack and Ella Smith Survivors Include: His Mother: Effie Smith Glass of Maybeury, WV Five Sisters: Jean Cranfill and husband Paul of Porter, IN Judi Wright of Bluefield, WV Janet Bowlick of Bluefield, VA Joyce Brown and husband Clyde Anthony of Maybeury, WV Lisa Stiltner of Springville, VA And several nieces, nephews and cousins Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 1:00p.m at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with the Rev. Brenda Miller officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Clyde Robert Brown, Steven Brown, Charles Boone, David Bowman, John Born, David Bailey, Anthony Brown and Andrew Jeffers
