Joyce Ann Horton

Joyce Ann Barlow Harton, 79, of 400 Harry Heights, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at a Tazewell, VA hospital. Born on September 21, 1931 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Dellas L. and Irene White Barlow. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the Midway Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Bill” Harton. Survivors include: Son: Dellas Ray Harton of Salisbury, NC 1 grandson: Christopher Harton of Bluefield Daughter in law: Patricia Harton of Bluefield 1 sister: Jean Wood of Bluefield Nephew: Calvin Whitteker and wife Mary Sue of Bluefield Several aunts and uncles Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Dan Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Christopher Harton and Elders and Deacons of the Church will serve as pallbearers.
