India Emaline Pruitt

India Emaline Lewis Pruitt, age 85, of Marion, OH and formerly of Tazewell, VA, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Community Center Nursing Home in Ohio. Born on August 29, 1925 in Tazewell County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Rachel Hoops Lewis. She had been a resident of Marion, OH for 5 years and was a homemaker. She attended the Salem Evangelical Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Pruitt; a son, Ralph Bradley Pruitt; and a brother, James Lewis. Survivors include: 1 son: James Pruitt of Bluefield 5 daughters: Irene Roark of Montcalm Lillie Martin of Bluefield Shirley Adkins of Bluefield Lorriane Pruitt of CT Carla Levesque of MS Grandchildren: Charol Candela and Raymond, Sandra Diaz and Elizer, and Anthony Pruitt Great grandchildren: Carla Hood-Pruitt, Cheryl Hartman and Jason, and Raymond Candela-Pruitt Great-Great-Granddaughter: Breanna Diaz and Christopher Several other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren 4 sisters: Flora Bell Perdue, Pauline Kinder, Flossie Wilson and Nancy Melvin 1 brother: Jack Lewis Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Arlan England officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home.
