June Travis Lewey

On Saturday, November 20th, 2010, June Travis Lewey 93 of Bluefield, WV came to her journey’s end….. GOD in all his infinite wisdom, love and grace called her home. June was born on March 28, 1917 in McDowell County, WV and was a lifelong resident of Bluefield. June was a member of the Bramwell Church of Christ. June enjoyed collecting dolls and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Lewey and a daughter Priscilla Miller. She leaves to cherish her memory: One son: Frazier (Tee) Lewey of Bluefield, WV One daughter: Barbara and son in law Eddie Fuller of Tazewell, VA Son in Law: Jack Miller of Bluefield, VA Two Granddaughters: Robin Hodges and husband Tony of Rocky Gap, VA April Christ and husband Joshua of Bluefield, VA Two Grandsons: Jerry D. Connelly II of Bluefield, WV Joshua Fuller of Tazewell, VA Two Great Granddaughters: Brooke Hodges of Rocky Gap, VA Addison Christ of Bluefield, VA And her loyal dog Peanut Special friends and loved ones: Alice, Steve and Michael Roten of Bluefield, WV Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV where Minister Tony Reed will officiate the service.
