Alivia Luvay Mowdy

Alivia Luvay Mowdy, infant daughter of Samantha N. Farris of Nemours and Kenny Ray Mowdy, Jr. of Bluefield passed away shortly after she was born on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at a Roanoke hospital. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfathers, George Jack Hicks and John Popp; and paternal great grandmother, Margaret Martin. Survivors in addition to her mother and father include: Maternal grandmother: Jackie Popp and step grandfather Allan Stacey Maternal grandfather: David Popp Paternal grandparents: Kenneth R. Mowdy, Sr. Anita Mowdy Maternal great grandmothers: Minnie Hicks, Sandra Popp and Ada Stacey; Delores Banner and her son Tommy Banner. Maternal great-great grandmother: Ruth Popp Half-sister: Brooklyn Mowdy Aunts and uncles: Jacklynn, Lindsey, Wayne, Aaron, and Corey Popp and Opal Knuckles A private burial is scheduled at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
