Bobby Eugene Odle

ROCK, WV--- Bobby Eugene Odle, age 75, of RT 2 Box 196 (Windmill Gap) Rock, WV passed away Saturday, October, 17, 2010 at his residence. Born December 24, 1934 in McComas, WV he was the son of the late Harry and Victoria Spicer Odle. Mr. Odle was a retired Coal Miner and a U.S. Marines, Korean War Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Odle, one sister, Ruth Odle, two sons, Two step-sons, Timmy and Jerry Church. Survivors include, his wife Sadie Church of the home One son, Ricky Odle of Texas One daughter, Vicky Coats Five brothers, Harry Odle, Jr. of Princeton, WV Tomie Odle and wife Gladys of Matoaka, WV Jimmy Odle and wife Tressa of Matoaka, WV Roscoe Odle and wife Susie of Matoaka, WV Lonnie Odle and wife Cindy of Rock, WV Two sisters, Sylvia Green and husband Larry of Jacksonville, NC Nacy O’dell of Salem , VA Seven step-children, Jimmy Church, Frances Owens, Frankie Church, Raymon Church, Tressa Odle, Kathy Key, and Karen Woody. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Alan White officiating. Burial will follow in Odle Family Cemetery at Conner Mountain, WV where the WV Honor Guard will conduct Military Graveside Rites. Friends may call Monday, October 18, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
