Teresa Ann Parton

Teresa Ann Parton, age 17, of Route 4 Box 287-A, Bluefield, WV, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Born on November 11, 1992, she was a daughter of Rebecca Lynn Parton of Pocahontas, VA and the late Darren Kelly Parton. She was the beloved granddaughter of Billy Agee of Bluefield and Dona Jean Agee of Pocahontas, VA and Wanda Parton of Abbs Valley, VA the late Winston Parton. She was also preceded in death by a cousin, PJ Tackett Teresa was a former student at Pocahontas and Tazewell High School. She currently was attending the National Business College in Bluefield, VA. She was a very caring person with a deep love for animals. She was a devoted friend and adored by all who knew her. She will be missed by her family and friends and will remain in our hearts for eternity. Additional survivors include: Brother: Michael Kelly Parton Aunt: Michele Agee Nunley and John Tina Parton Thomas and Gary Cousins: Gavin and Madison Nunley Dakota and Kristlin Thomas Special great aunt: Wanda Barrett Special mentor and friend: Tina Rose Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor David Nunley, Eric Nunley, and Virginia Shinault. Special music will be provided by Cheryl Brodnick. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Michael Parton, Matthew McCoy, Dustin Miller, Samuel Ealy, Chris Norris, and Chris Miller will serve as pallbearers. Justin Dixon and Drake Norris will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
