MULLENS,WV--- Gloria L. “Glo” Steele, age 54 of 916 McKinney St. Mullens, WV passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Beckley, WV. Mrs. Gloria “Glo” Steele received her treasures May 21 after following a long persecution. Now in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ, she shall “Glo” over the family she left behind. Born February 28, 1956 at Welch, WV she was the daughter of Margaret Davis Harris of Mullens, WV and the late Roy Compton. Mrs. Steele was a resident of Mullens for the past 30 years and was a 1974 graduate of Mullens High School. She had worked as office manager for the T.M. Management Company. She was also a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors in addition to her mother include, Her husband Donnie Steele of the home One son, Cody Seth Steele of Mullens, WV Two brothers, Keith B. Parks of Mullens, WV Nick Jacovitch and wife Beverly of Selma, NC One sister, Drucilla Sparks and husband Jim of Beaver, WV Brother-in-law, Bill Steele of Maben, WV Sister-in-law, Vickie England and husband Terry of Richlands, VA Special uncle, Charles B. “Bill” Steele of Gap Mills, WV Several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Ministers Lewis Arnold and Adeb Khchil officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
