Willow Dean Shatley

EAST BEND, NC---Willow Dean Shatley, age 78, of 1045 Copperfield Court, East Bend, NC formerly of Jenkinjones, WV passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Forsythe Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Born July 10, 1932 at Jenkinjones, WV she was the daughter of the late Daniel H. and Goldie Phillips Moore. Mrs. Shatley had been a resident of the North Carolina area for the past 5 years where she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Leslie Shatley; one grandson, Robert Shatley; Two brothers; Four sisters. Survivors include Two sons, Clyde Shatley, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Clintwood, VA Sammy Shatley of Clintwood, VA Four daughters, Carolyn Rose and husband Dannie of Pinnacle, NC Brenda Bolen of Anawalt, WV Vincesetta Cockerham and husband Ricky of East Bend, NC Dorothy Corner and husband Robert of Pinnacle, NC Three sisters, Ruth Jean Rutherford of Lexington, NC Eva Lee Barber of New Jersey Dottie Wagner of Falls Mills, VA Thirteen Grandchildren and Eighteen Great-Grandchildren Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Mary Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, WV. Friends may call Friday, October 22, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
