Robert Artemus Mullins

BLUEFIELD, WV--- Robert Artemus Mullins, age 80, of P.O. Box 3891 Sisters M.H.P. Bluefield, WV went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his residence. Born May 18, 1930 in Grundy, VA he was the son of the late Drewry and Pearlie Mullins Mullins. Mr. Mullins grew up around Grundy, VA and then made his home in Bluewell, WV for the past 30 years. He retired from the Timber Industry and was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the DAV of Princeton and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for the past 45 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ruly and Junior Mullins; Three sisters, Nora Marcum, Vernie Kelly, and Eva Shepeard. Survivors include, His wife of 56 years Lorine Mullins Mullins of Bluefield, WV Two sons, Steve Mullins and wife Sue of Bastian, VA Otis Mullins of Princeton, WV One daughter, Lois McGlothin and husband Jerry of Princeton, WV One brother, Elmer Mullins and wife Glayds of Green Valley, WV Three sisters, Dorothy White of Bluefield, WV Lucy Hicks and husband Pete of Bluefield, WV Helen Hicks of Bradshaw, WV Six Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Loved Ones Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Elders Danny Hurley and David Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA., where the WV Honor Guard will conduct Military graveside rites. Friends may call Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church Panther, WV after 5:00 p.m. Friends may also call Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.
