Staci Dean Damron

Staci Dean Damron, age 42, of 2208 Toledo Street, Bluefield, WV, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born on September 25, 1966, in Princeton, she was a daughter of Charles Edward Damron of Bluefield, WV and the late Sandra Brinker Damron. She had lived in Bluefield all of her life and was a retired dispatcher for the Bluefield, Virginia Police Department. She was very active in the Bluefield, Virginia Rescue Squad and was a member of Edgemont Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Lucille Brinker; and her paternal grandparents, Gordon and Mildred Damron. Survivors include: Father: Charles Edward Damron of Bluefield, WV Sisters: Lori Ann Damron of Bluefield, WV Mary Elizabeth Damron of the home Aunt: Janice Damron Hall of Fayetteville, NC Several cousins Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Ken Owens and Dr. Phillip Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia. Her pallbearers will be Tom Gibson, Ronald Richardson, Donnie Richardson, Aaron hall, Andrew Hall, Matthew Hall, Chris Hall, and Donnie Gott. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Harris, Jack Bourne, and Ted Baker. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
