Daniel C. Galliher

Daniel C. Galliher, age 82, of 1252 Heatherwood Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on November 27, 1926 in Virginia, he was a son of the late Dan Coleman and Sara Sword Galliher. He had been a resident of Bluefield for 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the US Air Force and also served during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lee Galliher. Survivors include: Wife: Mazie Lowe Galliher of the home 2 daughters: Cathy Allen of Glen Daniels, WV Shelia Joyce Marshall of Dudley, NC 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. George Stamper officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where men of the church will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
