Robert Lewis Clower

Robert Lewis “Bob” Clower, age 71, of PO Box 51, Montcalm, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on April 14, 1939 in Crystal, WV, he was a son of the late James Boyd “Doc” Clower and Nannie B. Perkins Clower. He had lived in Montcalm his entire life and had worked at the Mercer County Airport for 32 years as a maintenance supervisor. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters, Cecil Clower, Jaybe Clower, Chloe Phillips, Violet East, Helen Catron, Pauline Bell, Billy Joe Clower, and Mary Clower. Survivors: Wife of 52 years: Gloria Catron Clower of the home Sons: Robert D. Clower and wife Melissa of Bluefield, WV Sonny Clower and wife Kimberly of Montcalm, WV Daughters: Pamela Neese and husband John of Bluefield, WV Mary Waller and husband Doug of Roanoke, VA Nancy Justice and husband Danny of Montcalm, WV Sister: Lila Aker and husband Roger of Bluefield, WV Grandchildren: April, Steph, John, Kevin, Tiff, Summer, Stormy, Misty, Autumn, Cory, Courtney, Haleigh, Josh, Ben, Lauren, and Laken Great-grandchildren: Brody, Emily, Nathan, Eden, Isabella, and Julianna Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Bernard McBride officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Pallbearers will be Tony Bond, John Neese III, Jonathan Stewart, Mike Nolan, Corey Neese, and Kevin Neese.
