Lena Belle Isom Stroupe, age 100, of 475 Christian Fork Loop, Princeton, WV, and formerly of Bluewell, passed from this mortal life into the loving arms of her savior on Monday, December 13, 2010 at her residence.
Born on January 20, 1910 in Ivanhoe, VA, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Emette E. and Bessie Madana Cline Isom. She had been a resident of Princeton for 7 years and was a member of the Bluewell Church of God. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Disabled American Veteran’s Ladies Auxillary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lilly Cleo Isom, Sarah Leona Isom McCormick, Ella Mae Isom Payne Jones, Mayme Lee Isom Chapmon; and brothers, James Harman Isom and Luther Paul Isom. She was the last surviving member of her family.

7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Prayer Chapel of the Princeton Church of God, 250 Oakvale Road, Princeton, with Rev. Fred Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Bluefield where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 at the church in the prayer chapel.
