Jackie Delaine Hayes

Jackie Delaine Hayes, 69 of Rt 4, Box 288, Bluefield, (Bluestone), WV, went to be with the Lord at Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 25, 2010. Jack was born March 19, 1941 at Squire, WV. He was the son of Rutherford B. Hayes and Edna Hayes Slagle. He was an employee of Maidenform in Princeton, WV for 18 years and K & W Cafeteria, Mercer Mall, retiring after 8 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Dallas Hayes. Left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 47 years, Jeanette Harless Hayes and his stepmother, Lorraine Hayes of Pearisburg, VA, brothers, Jerry Hayes of Fredonia, New York, Berlin Hayes and wife Dreama of Narrows, VA, Robert Hayes and wife Missy of Lynchburg, VA, Mar Lee Hayes and wife Linda of Pearisburg, VA, and Jack Slagle of Beckley, WV. Sisters, Carol Cartright of Bluefield, VA, Carolyn Cundiff and husband Joe of Bluefield, WV, Mary Callahan and husband Lynwood of Radford, VA, Loretta Taylor, Virginia Collins and husband James, JoAnn Baker, Chrystal Neice and husband Andy, all of Pearisburg, VA. Brother-in-Law and Sister-In-Law, Ronald and Linda Neice of Bluefield, WV, their children, Frank Neice, Wesley Neice and Heather Brummett all of Bluefield, WV, and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Ron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA. Friends may call Friday, October 29, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
