Clissie Mae Epperson

Clissie Mae Epperson, age 70, of 128 Covemont Loop, Bluefield, WV, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on February 11, 1939, in Lashmeet, WV, she was a daughter of the late Admirle Dewey Cecil and Edna Mae Cecil. She was a resident of Mercer County for her entire life and was a member of the Maybeury Church of God. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 sisters, 2 brothers, a son, a daughter, and 2 grandsons. Survivors: Husband: Tracy Epperson of the home Sons: Randall Dean Epperson and wife Cathy of Rt. 2, Rock, WV Terry Wyatt and wife Debbie of Rt. 3, Bluefield, WV Cecil Epperson of the home Daughters: Renda Overton and husband Jack of Rt. 3, Bluefield, WV Tina Epperson of Tazewell, VA Sabrina “Suzie” Epperson of the home Brother: James Cecil and wife Kathy of Galax, VA Sisters: Ethel Wyatt of Rt. 3, Bluefield, WV Barbara Potter and husband Jack of Duffield, VA Debbie Hash and husband Terry of Fries, VA 8 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Maybeury Church of God with Rev. Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Belcher Cemetery on Coaldale Mountain. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 at the Maybeury Church of God.
