Shaun W. Haney

Shaun W. Haney, age 25, of 670 Old Mtn. Road, Pocahontas, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at a Tazewell, VA hospital. Born on July 3, 1984 in Evanston, IL, he was a son of Aaron Wayne Haney of Buchanan, MI and Deborah Ogle Gillespie of Bluefield, VA. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield, VA and Abbs Valley and was a member of the Bluefield, VA Church of God. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phylis Jean Nogosky Ogle and Roger Ray Ogle, Sr.; a favorite uncle, Roger Ray Ogle, Jr.; great grandparents, Adam and Vesta Nogosky and great aunt Laha Mills. He is survived by his: Beloved son: Logan Hans Haney of Bluefield, VA Brother: Christopher Luke Ogle and wife Cassie Ogle of Richlands, VA Half-Sister: Meagan Haney of MI Half Brother: Nickie Haney of MI Mother and stepfather: Deborah and Gary Gillespie of Bluefield, VA Father: Aaron Wayne Haney of Buchanan, MI Several aunts and uncles Many Cousins Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Tony Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Church of God Cemetery in Abbs Valley, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
