James Mark Bevins

James Mark Bevins, age 59, of Coaldale Mountain Road (PO Box 152), Bramwell, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his home. Born on December 24, 1950 in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Lewis G. and Sarah H. Davidson Bevins. He had been a lifelong resident of Coaldale was formerly worked for Neal & Associates as a mine security guard. He was a veteran of the US Army and attended the Maybeury Church of God. Survivors include: Wife: Amanda Lee Turner Bevins of Colonial Heights, VA 2 sons: James Aaron Bevins of Staunton, VA and Matthew Joel Bevins of Colonial Heights, VA 2 daughters: Rachel Haylean Bevins of Vero Beach, FL and Erica Dawn Bevins of Coaldale 2 brothers: William L. “Sonny” Bevins of Dinwiddie, VA and Phillip H. Bevins of Princeton 1 sister: Carol Adrian Knuckles of Bramwell Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell. Burial will follow at the Belcher Cemetery on Coaldale Mtn. Road where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
